If you are interested in test-driving an instrument to explore its applicability for your research, contact the faculty-in-charge and/or superusers found on the specific instrument pages.

If you would like a trained user or technician to obtain data for you on a SEA machine, expect to pay at least triple the user fees for this service if it is available. Contact the faculty-in-charge listed on the instrument information page.

If you would to become an independent user of an SEA machine, you will need to contact the technical staff member responsible for the instrument. That person, or in some cases a super-user of the instrument, will arrange for your training.

If you are already a user, but want to become more of an expert, SEA sponsors hands-on workshops and short courses on a demand basis. Let the faculty-in-charge listed on the instrument information page know of your interest.
